Love Hurts (2025) Hindi Dubbed Movie

Synopsis

Love Hurts follows Marvin Gable, a former hitman who’s now trying to live a quiet life as a realtor. When his old flame Rose resurfaces with a threatening Valentine’s Day message, his past comes crashing back. Complicating matters further is Marvin’s crime‑lord brother Knuckles, who’s on his trail. The premise promises a playful blend of action, romance, and intrigue.

Ke Huy Quan brings warmth and charm to Marvin, but despite his solid performance, the movie struggles to find a consistent tone. It bounces awkwardly between being a funny rom-com, a high-stakes action film, and a gritty revenge drama. The emotional connection between Marvin and Rose never quite lands, making the romantic storyline feel underdeveloped.

On the action front, the fight choreography is decent and has moments of flair, but it often feels over-rehearsed and lacks real impact. The film’s editing and pacing don’t help  fight scenes are interspersed with exposition in a way that makes the runtime feel padded rather than tight. Moreover, voice-over narration from both leads tries to explain emotional beats but ends up feeling heavy-handed.

While there are flashes of charm mostly due to an earnest performance by Quan and some genuinely fun action beats  Love Hurts is ultimately a missed opportunity. Critics note a weak script, tonal inconsistency, and underwhelming character chemistry. For viewers who just want lightweight, action-packed Valentine’s Day fare, it might work as a guilty pleasure; but for those hoping for a tightly plotted or emotionally resonant rom-com, it may leave them a little disappointed.
